Northshore Christian Academy is so much more than a “great place” for my two girls to go to school. Since 2009, NCA’s faculty, staff, administration, families and students have played an instrumental role in the growth not only in the lives of my two girls, spiritually and academically, but also in mine as well. I have both seen and experienced the love radiating from this school every moment we spend here. My children have been loved, nurtured, prayed for, encouraged, supported, driven to the next level, praised, corrected in love and truth and pointed always to Him. My children are not numbers in a crowd or an inconvenience, but known, welcomed, cherished, strengthened and inspired as they grow in and for His kingdom. My walk with Christ and life was forever altered through a teacher at this school. The joy and love of Jesus radiating out of her through her deep personal connection with Him brought an awakening to my heart and soul. Through her love, prayers, mentoring and encouragement into MY life, I finally found what my life had been missing. I have been a believer all my life, but never grasped what it meant to have a personal relationship with Him. As that distance closed and I grew in Him, my heart exploded with His love, joy and peace. I became a better mom, wife, sister, friend and daughter. My heart yearns to be in His word and serve and love those in His kingdom every day in large part because a teacher allowed herself to be used by Him as a vessel to pour into more than just the children in her class. This situation is not unique to me. I am in awe daily as I watch this ministry move with oceans of love in support of those dealing with various trials and circumstances. Not only the faculty, staff and administration, but the families coming alongside each other to help willingly, quickly, lovingly and compassionately. Children and families come to know Him because of NCA. It is truly beyond words. This place encourages me to be growing and walking with Him, to love others deeply, to serve for His glory and to trust in Him always. NCA is more than a school, His heart beats and His Presence is strong here.
NCA is more than a grouping of people, it is truly family.
